Newsletter Update + Why I Skipped Last Week

Things are about to change, for the better.

I was off the newsletter last week but had the best time of my life offline. Here’s what happened:

  1. I visited Goa for the first time. The weather was amazing. I’m usually a mountain person, but I gave beaches a chance and I’m already planning to return soon.

  2. Tried lobster and crab for the first time. Both were tasty and expensive, but neither overrated nor underrated. I even caught a fish myself!

This was my longest vacation of 2025, six-crazy-days.

  3. I dined at two restaurants from India’s Top 50 Conde Nast Traveller’s list (both in Goa) and was even invited to the launch of one’s second outlet later this year in Gurugram.

  4. Before I left, I laid the groundwork for outreach and it bore fruit. I came back Sunday night, and by Monday afternoon, I had two meetings lined up with hot leads.

This Tiramisu was better than I expected and it was made with filter coffee.

Hopefully, I’ll close them. Plus, a couple more leads are in the pipeline. AMEN!

  1. I didn’t post anything for 7+ days, and surprisingly, I feel more creative now. I have new ideas and can’t wait to get back to creating.

If you haven’t taken a break in a while, this is your sign :)

Tried Lobster for the first time. It was yummy!

Now onto the most important update about the newsletter…

I'll be honest: I'm bored of this format. The 1-2-3 style.

Why? Because it's getting repetitive. I'm at a phase where I've given SO MANY copywriting tips. They have started merging into each other.

Every time I write a new edition, I feel like I've said this before in a different way.

And although there's nothing wrong with that, I just don't feel the vibe anymore.

So just before I was about to leave for the trip, I did some critical thinking. I wanted to take this newsletter into a new direction.

And while I'm still not sure where to take it, I'm sure about one thing: Flexibility. (I'm open to hearing what you'd like to see as well.)

I don't want to be restricted to a format. I want to be able to talk about ads, copywriting, messaging, marketing, positioning and so much more. I don't want to feel caged in a box.

The core idea is still copy and message thinking. But in a much more open and "anything goes" way.

So I'm taking until next Sunday to come up with a new format for the newsletter. My idea is to make it more "show, don't tell."

I enjoy exploring, analyzing and explaining through examples. But I'm curious to know what you enjoy?

Because as a subscriber and a reader of this newsletter, your opinion matters to me.

So tell me... Which section do you currently enjoy the most? What section would you add or improve to enhance your experience?

Hit reply and literally let me know as soon as you finish reading this edition.

P.S. My current plan is to try a first edition next week. It will be led by examples plus actionable advice. But I'm still hunting for advice and I only have 7 days until a complete overhaul of this newsletter. So help me out!

Well, that’s all I have for you today 🤝

Hit reply & let me know your thoughts, !

Cheers! :)
